About Luke:

The son of educators, grandson of laborers, Luke Trimble is a storyteller capturing life in Appalachia. A mix of
bluegrass, folk and country, Trimble's music is made of memory - his own memory of growing up in Paintsville,
Kentucky; the memory of a rich cultural Appalachian history; and an instinctive Eastern Kentucky memory,
passed down through family lore or, maybe, in the water that rolls out of the hills.

Trimble's ties to Appalachia run deep. Raised with three sisters, Trimble is 1/3 of a set of triplets. Through the
bumps of childhood and multiple moves within the region, Trimble and his siblings held tight to each other, and
rooted themselves in one thing that was always there: the deep mountain landscape of Eastern Kentucky.
While his family is still home in Paintsville, Trimble has recently made Lexington his home.
